    Creating Tables

    • To create a table in Microsoft Word, click Insert > Table and select the number of rows and columns from the grid, or use the Insert Table… option for more control over the table dimensions.
    • Right-clicking in the table allows you to insert or delete cells, and select multiple cells or entire rows and columns by clicking and dragging your mouse across the cells.
    • The border of a table cell can be controlled, with options to change the width or thickness of the border, and which sides of the cell the border appears on.

    Adding Images

    • Images can be added to a Word document by placing the cursor where you want the image to appear, then going to Insert > Pictures and selecting a picture from your computer.
    • The image can be resized by clicking and dragging the corners or sides, and rotated by clicking and dragging the circular arrow at the top.
    • Holding down the Shift key while resizing an image maintains its proportions.

    Text Wrap

    • Images are treated as inline text characters, which can increase the line spacing in a document.
    • Text wrapping options can be changed to control how text wraps around an image.
    • Hyperlinks allow you to link to websites, email addresses, or files on your computer or in a shared database.
