Project phases are important and should be updated at the appropriate time to keep the project moving forward.
Auto tasks are set up to trigger at specific phases and should be kept in mind when updating phases.
The vitals tab shows vital information about the project and can be customized by the organization admin.
The details tab shows detailed information about the project such as the organization name and project type.
The settings tab allows users to decide if they want to be subscribed to activity notifications.
The activity section shows an activity log for everything that has happened in the project.
The filter drop-down in the activity section allows users to filter items by type, status, and creator.
The right note box is where new activity is created, including notes, tasks, and texts.
Plus at shortcut can be used to mention anyone on the team in a note or task.
Tags can be added to notes and tasks, and documents can be attached to notes.
The text explains how to create tasks and send text messages in a project using Filevine.
To create a task, use the @ symbol and indicate it as a to-do item with a due date.
Text messages can be sent from the activity section by selecting a contact card and indicating the number to send it from.
Emails cannot be sent from the activity section, but can be added to a project using a special project email address or an Outlook/Gmail add-on.
The Project Hub is where all projects can be found and sorted/filter by various criteria.
Projects can be pinned or unpinned to the top of the list in the Project Hub.
The Project Hub can also filter projects by role, type, and phase.
Archived projects can be viewed by checking the "show archived" box.
The presence of a check mark icon indicates a task in a project.
Notifications for tasks can be received if personal notifications are turned on.
