LHB Maintenance Manual Version 1.1 July 2022
- Sixth correction slip of LHB Maintenance Manual version 1.1, July 2022, Volume II, is enclosed.
- Railway Board has approved the revised manual version 1.1, July 2022, Volume II.
- The checking of wheel profile and flange thickness is now done by wheel profile gauge in D1 Schedule.
- RDSO issued instructions regarding brake disc cleaning, air brake rake testing format, and single car for LHB coaches.
- This is for information and necessary action.
Revised Instructions for Wheel and Axle
- Include wheel profile and tyre defect gauge checks.
- Schedule D3 (Half Yearly) includes brake disc cleaning.
Air Brake and Brake Equipment
- Cleaning of brake disc is a part of the air brake and brake equipment checks.
Air Brake Rake Testing Rig (RTR)
- Provides a format for air brake testing of LHB train.
