Instructor Operator Station (IOS)

• Mobile configuration is directly mounted to the shelter floor and side wall.

Crewstation

• The Crewstation is part of the COFT.
• It replicates the BFV turret.
• The Institutional Crewstation version has side panels; Mobile has no sides.

Commander’s Station

• The Commander has the capability to view three periscopes, and includes Commander's Sight Control Panel (CSCP).
• These functions act in the same manner as in an actual vehicle.

Gunner's Station

• Improved Bradley Acquisition System (IBAS) FLIR/TV and DVO sight are available for viewing by the Gunner.
• Controls and indicators are similar.
• Limited functionality for manual turret and gun elevation control in the TTT configuration.

Computational System Rack (CSR)

• CSR contains computers.
• The hardware and software support vehicle simulation, Image Generation.
• The Semi-Automated Forces (SAF), and database software simulation of operations within the operational environment.
• The TTT configuration has the necessary hardware and software for simulated gunnery.
• Key components include: Image Generator Graphics Processor (GP) 1 computer, HOST/BCSL/GP0 computer, and IOS computer.

Emergency Power-Off (EPO) Switches

• The Mobile and Institutional configurations use 208 Volts Alternating Current (VAC) conditioned power.
• Each configuration has EPO switches located near the personnel doors to shut off power to protect components.

Fire Protection Equipment

• Each COFT training station includes fire protection equipment
• Included are smoke alarms, an annunciator, and an independent fire detection and suppression system.

Laser Printer

IOS User Login Display Screen

• This screen appears automatically after power-up or a logout.
• It allows the IO to log in for training or training management.
• It shows the login ID and password fields.

Home Screen

• The Home Screen appears after login, similar to the login screen.
• It does not show the login ID and password
• Control buttons are activated.
• Key components include a system health indicator.

System Health Screen

• The SYS HEALTH button activates the system health screen.

Performance Analysis Display Screen

• Provides AAR information.

Exercise Replay Display Screen

• The Exercise Replay Display Screen allows the IO to replay situations from the completed exercise.
• Displays exercise information, weapon status, ammunition load, turret controls, and vehicle posture.

Crew Management Display Screen

• The display permits the instructor to handle crew records.
• Information including crew data is available in this screen.

Instructor Records Display Screen

• Allows the operator to manage instructor records.
• Provides a list of current instructors, create new instructors, and change passwords.

Exercise Load Display Screen

• Displays information to the instructor for the selected exercise.
• Provides crew details, ammunition load, crew instructions, start training, and back buttons.

Trainer Usage Data

• The Trainer Usage Data GUI allows the operator to view, modify, print, transfer, and restore training related data.

Manual Input Window

• The Manual Input window is for recording maintenance, downtime, and other data.

Transfer Data Window

• Used to transfer all applicable trainer usage data.

Reset Data Window

• Deletes trainer usage data files.

Restore Data Window

• Restores/imports data from a CD/DVD.

Bradley COFT System Logbook

• The logbook contains daily operations forms.
• Includes information such as date, time, remarks, accountable failure time, RTM reading, signature from entries made by the IO and organizational maintenance personnel.
