Scope

Responsibility

  • The Laboratory Manager is responsible for ensuring the observance and maintenance of this procedure.
  • The Document Controller is responsible for safekeeping of personnel records.

Procedure Description

  • All CMTS personnel must act impartially, be competent, and work in accordance with the laboratory's management system.
  • CMTS calibration laboratory values every personnel and considers them as its greatest asset.
  • The company provides an established qualification and training program.
  • Each personnel is categorized based on applicable education, training, skills, and experience.
  • Each personnel has a personal file where records of all training and certification are kept.

  • Personnel's competency affects or influences the results of laboratory activities.
  • Competency qualification requirements for each position are detailed below:

Laboratory Manager

  • Must have a graduate degree in any Engineering field, preferably Electrical or Electronics.
  • Must have at least 3 years of technical and managerial experience in Calibration Laboratory.
  • Must have excellent managerial skills, technical skills in Instrumentation and Calibration, written and oral communication skills, leadership skills, and MS Office skills.
  • Must have training in PNS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Standard for Laboratory Competence, Instrumentation and Control Servicing NCII, Metrology Training, and Uncertainty of Measurement.

Operations Manager

  • Must have a college level or graduate degree in any Engineering field, preferably Electrical or Electronics.
  • Must have at least 3 years of technical experience with supervisory experience in Calibration Laboratory.
  • Must have excellent managerial skills, technical skills in Instrumentation and Calibration, leadership skills, and MS Office skills.

Calibration Technician Level 2

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience as a calibration technician.

Calibration Technician Level 1
