Monotheism (Tawheed & Adala)
- Monotheism, in Islam, is the belief in the absolute oneness of God.
- Tawheed, an Arabic word, means "oneness" or "unification."
- Tawheed has multiple levels of meaning in Islam.
- Seven stages of Tawheed are categorized:
- Total devotion to none but Allah
- Tawheed in deeds
- Tawheed in trusting none but Allah
- Tawheed in benefit or deprivation from none but Allah
- Tawheed in order or forbidding from none but Allah
- Tawheed in the Attributes of Allah
- Tawheed in worship
Surah Ikhlas
- Surah Ikhlas declares that God is One (Ahad).
- He is perfect (Assamad).
- He has no offspring, and was not born.
- And there is none comparable to Him.
- The Surah emphasizes the absolute oneness and uniqueness of God.
- The content of Surah Ikhlas focuses on the principles of the unity of God in essence and attributes, with three key points:
- The unity and oneness of God
- The needlessness of God
- God having no partner
Adala
- Adala is the belief in nine aspects of God's justice.
- The nine aspects of God's Justice include:
- Allah is a just master to all His creations.
- Allah never does anything wrong.
- Allah never fails to do what is necessary.
- There's no injustice in Allah's decisions.
- Allah tests/commands only to a limit someone can bear.
- Allah rewards those who obey.

- Allah does not force evil and punish.
