Fundamentals of Religion
- Allah is God's personal name, encompassing all attributes of perfection and free from any defects.
- 104 attributive names of Allah are mentioned in the Holy Qur'an, examples include Ar-Rahman (the Most Gracious), Ar-Rahim (the Most Merciful), Al-Hayy (the Ever-Living), and Al-Qayyum (the Sustainer).
- Allah has decreed victory for himself and his messengers (Al-Mujadilah 58:22).
- Islam is obedience and submission to God's will, forsaking one's desires.
- The five fundamental pillars of Islam are: The Shahada (Declaration of Faith), Salat (Prayer), Sawm (Fasting during Ramadan), Zakat (Almsgiving), and Hajj (Pilgrimage).
Articles of Faith
- There are six articles of faith: Belief in Allah, Belief in His Angels, Belief in His Books, Belief in His Messengers, Belief in the Day of Judgment, and Belief in Divine Decree (Qadr).
Holy Qur'an
- The Holy Qur'an consists of 114 surahs (chapters), 6,348 ayahs (verses), 558 rukus, and 86,430 words.
- The Qur'an is the same as it was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) from the Bismillah to the end.
- Allah has decreed that he will preserve the Qur'an.
