Technology refers to the know-how and creative processes that assist people in utilizing tools, resources, and systems to solve problems and improve the human condition (UNESCO, 1985).
The word "technology" comes from the Greek words "techne" meaning "craft" and "logia" meaning "saying".

Technological breakthroughs have brought significant changes in human activities, including the educational system.
Technology in education encourages students to be productive, innovative, and enterprising.

Lack of genuine software, which undermines the quality, security, and legality of ICT integration efforts.
Inadequate computers in the classroom, limiting access to technology and hindering digital skill development.
Low-speed internet, which can impede the proper integration of ICT in education by limiting access to online resources.
Lack of motivation from both teachers and students to use ICT.

Engaging parents, local businesses, and community organizations to donate computers, sponsor technology initiatives, or provide volunteer support to enhance access to technology resources in the classroom.
