A320 Progress Test
- Engine generators and APU generator are rated at 90 KVA.
- The number 1 AC bus channel normally supplies power to TR1 and to the AC ESS SHED bus, which supplies power to the AC ESS bus.
- When no other power is available in flight, the static inverter converts BAT1 DC power to AC power for the AC ESS bus, and BAT2 powers the DC ESS bus.
- The IDG Fault light indicates IDG low oil pressure or IDG oil overheat.
- After landing, in the emergency electrical configuration, the batteries automatically connect to the DC ESS bus.
- On ECAM's Cab.Press Page, the outflow valve indicator changes to amber if it is not fully open on the ground.
- Position of TRIM Air valves and HOT AIR pressure regulating valve are indicated on the BLEED SD page.
- Two safety valves are provided to avoid excessive positive and negative differential pressure.
- An ECAM warning is triggered at a cabin altitude of 9,550 feet.
- With the engines off, if the AVAIL light is illuminated on both the APU START push button and the EXT PWR push button, the source of electrical power for the aircraft busses is the external power.
- E/WD information is automatically transferred to the F/O's PFD in the event of an ECAM warning.
- CVR is stopped automatically 1 minute after the last engine shutdown on the ground.
- You may fly with one engine in N1 mode and other engine in EPR Mode, and you may fly one engine in Rated N1 mode and the other engine in Degraded N1 mode.
- In case of heavy rain, the Blower and Extract to OVRD p/b is required to be pressed for "Operation in Heavy Rain on ground".
- The BAT FAULT light will illuminate when charging current decreases at an abnormal rate.
- If an engine fire is detected, the pedestal-mounted red FIRE annunciator light will extinguish when the crew selects the adjacent ENG MASTER switch to off.
- In case of Avionics Smoke, the Elect page is displayed on S/D.
- Antiskid is deactivated below 30 kts.
