Neurotransmitters

- Acetylcholine (ACh)
- Norepinephrine (NE)
- Serotonin (5-HT)
- Dopamine
- Releases neurotransmitters to regulate various physiological processes
Body Temperature
- Regulates body temperature through:
- Heat production (shivering)
- Heat loss (sweating)
- Maintains a set point temperature of around 37°C (98.6°F)
- Receives input from temperature sensors in the skin and hypothalamus
Hormone Regulation
- Produces and regulates various hormones, including:
