General Objectives of Human Rights Education
- The overall goal of teaching human rights is to introduce students to human rights from various global, humanistic, scientific, and religious perspectives, objectively, and free from political, intellectual, and sectarian influences.
Specific Objectives of Human Rights Education
- Help students critically analyze human rights issues and encourage empathy towards those whose rights are violated.

UNESCO Conference (1978) Recommendations
- The UNESCO conference in Vienna (1978) emphasized that human rights education should be based on a comprehensive understanding of human rights in society, acknowledging their historical evolution and the socio-economic and cultural factors influencing their respect.
