The male reproductive system is responsible for producing and transporting sperm.
Key Components
- Testes: Produce sperm through a process called spermatogenesis
- Epididymis: Stores and transports sperm
- Vas Deferens: Muscular tube that propels sperm during ejaculation
- Urethra: Passageway for sperm and urine
- Penis: Organ responsible for urination and sexual intercourse
- Scrotum: Protects and regulates temperature of testes
Hormonal Regulation
- Testosterone: Produced by testes, regulates sperm production and male characteristics
- Luteinizing Hormone (LH): Stimulates testosterone production
- Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH): Regulates sperm production

Overview
The female reproductive system is responsible for producing eggs and supporting fetal development during pregnancy.
Key Components
- Ovaries: Produce eggs through a process called oogenesis
- Fallopian Tubes: Tubes that connect ovaries to uterus, allowing egg fertilization
- Uterus: Muscular organ that supports fetal development during pregnancy
