  • 4th checks floor above, then sets up in stairwell to replace FA
  • 5th is initial RSA manager, prepares to replace FA team in stairwell

Sixth and Seventh Arriving Engines

  • Park at apparatus base. Full PPE, high-rise kit, and extra equipment to RSA
  • 6th goes to RSA and prepares to replace the team in stairwell
  • 7th is FA from the 2nd stairwell (coordinates with initial FA), will be 2nd fire attack group supervisor

Eighth Arriving Engine

  • Reverse lay from 2nd standpipe to hydrant 200’ away (different from other engine) or 3rd line to the only stand pipe
  • Full PPE, high-rise kit, and extra equipment left at RSA
  • The remaining crew backs up FA in 2nd stairwell, reports to 2nd stairwell FAG (Fire Attack Group) supervisor.

Ninth to Twelfth Arriving Engines

  • Park engines at apparatus base
  • Full PPE, High-rise kit, and extra equipment to RSA
  • Report to 2nd stairwell FAG and prepare to replace attack crew

First Arriving Truck

  • Parks for possible rescue(s) or FA,equipped with Full PPE, Truck kit, and extra tools to RSA
  • Performs truck function on first floor: forceable entry, vent, open plenum for FA, and RIT
  • Next truck takes truck functions if assigned to aerial rescue

Second Arriving Truck

  • Parks a minimum of 200’ away unless aerial rescue is needed. Full PPE, Fan, and extra tools to RSA
