- Entrepreneurs intend to make profits, but with the purpose of making a difference, and are passionate about providing unique solutions for problems in the community.
Vertical vs Horizontal Progress
- Vertical progress is harder to imagine because it requires doing something nobody else has ever done, going from 0 to 1.
- Horizontal progress means copying things that work, going from 1 to n.
- Example: Building a word processor from a typewriter is vertical progress, while building 100 typewriters is horizontal progress.
Habits of Highly Effective Entrepreneurs
- Focus on culture
