Creation Myths

From Aether emerged daylight, while Chaos brought forth endless darkness.
Gods and Goddesses
Greek gods were divided into two categories - the Olympians and those who resided in other parts of the universe. The twelve main Olympian gods were: Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, Demeter, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Hephaestus, Hermes, Dionysus, and Aphrodite. Heracles, known as Hercules in Roman mythology, completed twelve labors as penance for killing his family in a fit of madness.
Major Myths
One of the most well-known myths is the tale of Prometheus, who defied the gods by creating mankind out of clay and water. For this act, he was punished by having his liver eaten daily by an eagle only to regenerate it overnight.
