India New Zealand Sign Bilateral Custom Cooperation Agreement:
- To ease bilateral trade, India and New Zealand signed a bilateral Customs Cooperation Arrangement agreement.
- The agreement was signed in Wellington on 8 August 2024 during President Droupadi Murmu's two-day official visit to New Zealand.

Migration and Mobility Agreement:
- Cabinet approved the Migration and Mobility Agreement between India and Italy.
- Agreement would Enhance people-to-people contacts, foster mobility of students, skilled workers, business people, and young professionals and Strengthen cooperation on irregular migration between the two sides.
- Key provisions include:
- Indian students, after completing academic/vocational training in Italy may be granted temporary residence for up to 12 months.
- For workers, the Italian side has reserved a quota for nonseasonal and seasonal Indian workers for 2023, 2024, and 2025 under the current Flows Decree

- The 4th BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation) Security Chief meeting was held recently.
President Murmu Awarded the Order of Timor Leste:
- President Droupadi Murmu was conferred the highest civilian award of Timor Leste, the Order of Timor Leste, by Timor Leste President Jose Ramos Horta.
- The award was conferred to President Murmu on 10 August 2024 at a function in the Timor-Leste capital, Dili.
- President Murmu is on a three-nation tour of - Fiji, New Zealand and Timor Leste from 5 to 10 August 2024.
- During her three-nation tour, President Murmu was accompanied by the Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs and Minister of State for the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, George Kurien and two Lok Sabha MPs, Saumitra Khan and Jugal Kishore.
