Geodetic Engineering Upgrading and Practice
- Junior Geodetic Engineers (GEs) can upgrade to GE status without examination within three years from the Act's effectivity (RA 8560 as amended by RA 9200).

Board of Geodetic Engineering
- The Board consists of a Chairman and two members appointed by the President from a list of recommended candidates.
- Board members must be:

- Registered GEs with over 10 years of practice
- Not affiliated with institutions teaching GE within three years prior to appointment

Moral Turpitude
