General Trip Rules

• Be respectful, responsible, and ready to learn
• Always represent Stallion/Bronco PRIDE
• Clothing must follow school dress code standards, and consider the weather forecast
• Slotsy Tours jacket and lanyard must be worn
• Be conscious of meeting times and locations, ask an adult if unsure
• Punctuality is essential, aim to arrive a few minutes early
• Students must have a watch or cell phone and be mindful of the time
• Be aware of others, one person's issue can affect the entire group
• Gossiping and rumors are not allowed; instead, speak to a chaperone if needed
• Show consideration for fellow tour members

Airplane Conduct

• Exemplary behavior is expected on flights
• Interact positively and politely with airline staff and other passengers
• Stay in your assigned seat
• When boarding, quickly find your seat and store belongings in the appropriate place
• Remain seated with your seatbelt fastened
• Avoid constantly accessing overhead bins, take all necessities before takeoff
• Do not use the flight attendant button unless there is an emergency
• Use appropriate voice volume on the plane
• Upon exiting, take all belongings, exit immediately, and find your chaperone group
• It is impossible to return to the plane for forgotten items

Hotel Conduct

• Girls are not allowed in boys' rooms and vice versa, automatic "send home"
• Visiting other rooms is forbidden
• Do not leave your room, contact your chaperone if there are issues
• Hotel phone use is restricted to contacting chaperones, use cell phones to call home unless specified
• Only open the door for chaperones after verifying their identity
• Avoid running, screaming, slamming doors, and loud noises, especially late at night
• Do not engage in play fighting, wrestling or horseplay
• Leave the room in good condition
• Hotel time is for sleeping, not socializing, prepare for the next day and go to sleep

Bus Conduct

• Show respect for bus drivers
• No food or drinks are allowed, except for water bottles
• Gum is prohibited
• Stay seated at all times while the bus is moving and sit properly, facing forward
• Girls must sit with girls and boys with boys
• Listen carefully and follow all directions, noting pick-up locations and bus numbers
• No grooming is allowed on the bus
• Remain silent and attentive when a chaperone, tour guide, or bus driver is using the PA system for important announcements
• Avoid cell phone and iPad usage unless told otherwise by chaperones
• No flash photography
• Refrain from screaming, shouting, or whistling
• Report any issues on the bus to a chaperone immediately

Conduct While in Line

• Pay attention and keep moving forward
• Keep voices at a low volume
• Avoid pushing, screaming, shoving, or hand games

Conduct While Touring

• Always have a partner with you all the time
• Keep up with the group
• Walking in public should be single file
• Pay attention to the tour guide or docent and be respectful
• Cell phones and iPads will not be used during educational touring
• Be quiet and respectful at monuments, memorials, cemeteries and museums
• Dispose of litter properly
• Ignore panhandlers, beggars, etc
• Be on time
• Follow directions

Restaurant Manners

• Follow directions from the tour guide
• Use the restroom and wash your hands before and after you eat
• Only leave your table to get more food or go to the restroom with a buddy
• Do not leave the restaurant or food court unless directed by a chaperone
• Always clean-up after yourself and be respectful of the staff and restaurant
• Cell phone use will not be allowed during meals
