- NCC is offered in some Universities/Colleges in India as part of Discipline Elective Subjects & General Elective Subjects.

Drill
- In Saavadhan position shoulder must be parallel to the ground.
- In Vishram position Rifle Drill, angle formed at right elbow should be 45 degrees. Rifle in Salami Shastra, butt Should be Nine inches in front of the body.
- Bhumi Shastra, keep rifle in such a way that magazine will be facing Up.
- Six inches in front of the nose is where the barrel should be in Salami Shastra.
- The Right tip of right eye should be the spot for middle finger to touch in 'Samne Salute'
- 30 is the inches for the length of each step in 'Tez Chal'
- 45 is the degrees at the Right elbow in 'Samne Salute'
- In 'Nikat Line Chal', a cadet in middle line will take a position which is 45 inches behind from original position

- Kadwar Sizing the Kadwar Sizing requires standing at the right-most position, in sequence with the first line
- While Kadwar Sizing the squad must be odd
- Body weight should be on both the legs at vishram
- In pichhe mud same direction from right
