Function A: Assessment

- Members must remove Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) before entering the assessment area.

- Purpose is to identify individuals needing more than a standard recovery period.
- Members with no overexertion symptoms and normal vitals can return to duty post-REHAB without further evaluation.
- A pulse rate exceeding 120 bpm triggers monitoring and tracking within the rehab sector.
- Rest and hydration are provided, with re-evaluation of pulse after 20 minutes for those exceeding 120 bpm.
- Immediate ALS treatment is administered for members showing Altered Level of Consciousness (ALOC) or irregular heartbeats upon entering Rehab.
- If after 20 minutes, pulse remains above 120 bpm or dehydration symptoms persist, ALS interventions will be implemented according to Section C guidelines.
