- A protocol used to transfer files easily between a client computer and a server computer
- A set of rules for two or more computers to communicate and transfer data or files between them
Email (Electronic Mail)
- A term used to describe electronic messages, typically simple text messages
- A paperless method of sending messages, images, videos, etc. from one person to another or many people at the same time via the internet
- Email allows users to send messages to anyone at any time (24/7) and are usually delivered in just a few seconds
- To send an email, the user needs to know the recipient's email address and compose/write the email
- Components of an email include the sender's and recipient's email addresses
