    • Formula Bharat is a student design competition focusing on safety, good engineering practice, education, and creating opportunities for participating students.

    Main Hoop Bracing

    • The main hoop must be supported by bracing tubes on each side, attached to the front or rear of the main hoop.
    • The main hoop and main hoop braces cannot lie on the same side of a vertical line coincident with the top of the main hoop.
    • Main hoop braces must be attached to the main hoop no lower than 160 mm below the top-most surface.
    • The included angle formed by the main hoop and the main hoop braces must be at least 30°.
    • The main hoop braces must be straight.
    • The lower ends of the main hoop braces must be supported back to the upper attachment point of the main hoop to the side impact structure and the lower attachment point of the main hoop to the side impact structure by a node-to-node triangulated structure or equivalent composite structure.
