Location

- Two types of locations exist
- Absolute location: Uses grid coordinates like latitude and longitude.
- Relative location: Describes where a place is in relation to other places.
Place
- Place describes physical characteristics and human characteristics of an area.
- Physical characteristics: Landforms, water bodies, soil, plants, animals, climate
- Human characteristics: Bridges, houses, parks, land use, population density, language, and religion
Region
- Regions are broad groupings of areas that have similar characteristics
- Regions are classified by
