Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

All Spring Fire Department members receive a set of PPE
The PPE set is issued upon the member's initial visit to the Quartermasters department
The PPE set includes items such as Structural Firefighting Coats, Pants, Boots, Helmet, Hoods, Gloves, Scott SCBA Mask, Rescue Gloves, a Reflective Traffic Vest, a Gear Bag, and Work Gloves.

Rescue Team PPE includes a separate set of equipment including an Equipment Bag, Harness, Dry Suit, Water Shoes, Life Jacket, Helmet with light, and Rope Gloves.

Approved Non-Issued PPE

Ensemble Exposure & Mitigation

Ensembles exposed to contaminants such as bulk chemicals, asbestos, bodily substances, microbial contamination, or products of combustion, are subjected to preliminary Exposure Reduction
