Termination

Funeral Leave

  • A member shall be granted up to three (3) days of leave with pay to attend the funeral of an immediate family member

Sick Leave Compensation

  • Separation by Retirement:
    • The balance of sick leave will be paid to bargaining unit employees with at least one (1) year of continuous employment at the ratio of one hour pay for every two (2) hours of accrued sick leave at the employee's current hourly rate
  • Separation by Resignation or Termination:
    • The balance of sick leave will be paid to bargaining unit employees with at least one (1) year of continuous employment at the ratio of one hour pay for every four (4) hours of accrued sick leave at the employee's current hourly rate
