    • Microscopically, it comprises mostly fibrous tissue and can show two types of patterns: intracanalicular and peri-canalicular.
    • Variants include tubular adenoma, lactating adenoma, and juvenile fibroadenoma.
    • Fibroadenoma may be part of fibrocystic disease and is termed fibroadenomatosis.
