- An 'adolescent' is a person who has completed 15 years of age but has not completed 18 years of age.
- A 'week' is a period of seven days beginning at midnight on Sunday.
- 'Power' means electrical energy, or any other form of energy which is mechanically transmitted and is not generated by human or animal agency.
Key Terms and Concepts
- A 'manufacturing process' includes any process for making, altering, repairing, ornamenting, finishing, or otherwise treating any article or substance with a view to its use, sale, transport, or disposal.
- A 'day' means a period of 24 hours beginning at midnight.
- A 'factory' is any premises, including the precincts thereof, whereon or within which 10 or more workers are working or were working on any day of the preceding 12 months, and in any part of which a manufacturing process is being carried on, or is ordinarily so carried on.
