Study Notes
Engineer Test Announcement
- The Engineer test will be administered on June 18, 2024, at the Fire HQ Multipurpose room.
- The exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions.
- Testing will commence at 0900 hours and will cease at 1200 hours.
- One hour will be allowed for review and to prepare for any challenge to questions after scoring is complete.
- No phones or recording devices are allowed into the testing venue, and discovery of these items may result in dismissal from the process and potential disciplinary action.
Required Materials
- The following materials must be electronically uploaded through the Career Page by 2359 hours, May 29, 2024:
- Letter of intent
- Resume
- Florida State Certified Pump Operator certificate
- Florida State Certified EMT or Paramedic certificate
- Building Construction certificate
- Tactics and Strategies 1 certificate
- SJCFR Engineer Handbook certificate
- Copy of college degree (if applicable)
- Veteran’s Preference Supporting Document (if applicable)
