Leave Policies
- Employees may be granted emergency leave at the discretion of management depending on business requirements.
- Unpaid leave may be granted if all sick and earned leaves are exhausted, at management's discretion depending on business requirements and the nature of the employee's request.
Sick Leave/Personal Time-off
- Employees are entitled to 12 days of sick leave/personal time-off in a calendar year.
- If an employee joins mid-year, they will receive sick leave on a prorated basis.
- In cases of longer illnesses, sick leaves and paid leaves will be exhausted first.
- Employees can take a maximum of 7 days of leave in case of hospitalization, including weekends.
- In exceptional circumstances, management will decide on holidays after exhausting sick and paid leaves.
Wedding/Marriage Leave
- The company offers 5 days of wedding leave to celebrate this milestone.
- A 30-day notice is required to avail of these leaves.
- There will be no deduction of salary for availing these leaves.
Maternity Leave
- Female employees who have completed 80 days of employment are entitled to maternity leave.
- The total maximum leave entitlement is 26 weeks, which can be bifurcated into prenatal and post-delivery leave.
- Up to 8 weeks can be taken before delivery and the remaining after delivery.
- The company will pay for the entire 26 weeks.
- For female employees expecting their third child, maternity leave is 12 weeks.
Paid/Earned Leave
- Every employee above 18 earns 1 paid leave for every 12 full days worked.
- Employees can request to utilize earned leaves with supervisory approval.
- The maximum carry-forward of earned leaves to the next calendar year is 45 days.
- Unused earned leaves will be encashed at the time of resignation, based on the last drawn daily basic salary.
