Emergency Operating Plan for LNG Storage Facilities

- Procedures for responding to fire emergencies are located in their own set of procedures, SOP S1-1112.
- Personnel must know how to respond to both controllable and uncontrollable emergencies, and this SOP provides procedures for both.
- Sound judgment is necessary, and the safety and well-being of the public and employees must always be given prime consideration over land and property.
- Familiarity with the contents of these procedures and the escape route layouts is vital for those responsible for handling emergency situations.
- Emergency and safety equipment will be maintained and kept in the control building, and it should be reserved for emergencies only.
