The term "electronics" originates from "electron mechanics", which is the study of electron behavior under different electric field conditions.
Electronic devices control the flow of electrons and are the primary components of electronic circuits.

In 1947, Bell Laboratories developed the first transistor based on the research of William Shockley, John Bardeen, and Walter Brattain.
Jack Kilby of Texas Instruments developed the first integrated circuit in 1959.
Electronic devices play a significant role in daily life, with examples including computers, mobile phones, ATMs, pendrives, televisions, and digital cameras.
