ELA Expectations 2025
- Mrs. Lightfoot grades assignments on Fridays.
- Students should email Mrs. Lightfoot if they finish work late or complete make-up work to request grade changes.
- Students can correct their work from Amplify lessons. Email Mrs. Lightfoot after correcting the work
- Questions about grades should be directed via email to Mrs. Lightfoot.
- Students will not get help with their final grade if they have missing work.
Class Rules
- Respect: Respect the teacher, the time, classmates, and oneself.
- Effort: Give 100% effort and avoid distracting others.
Class Routine
- Bellwork: Sit down and begin working on the day's instructions.
- Instruction: Follow directions, use supplies correctly, and meet learning objectives.
- Intervention: Work silently and productively.
Grades
- Grading Frequency: Each quarter.
- Assignments: Essays (1-2), Unit Tests, Quill assignments, Book Reports
Bathroom Policy
