Question 1 & General Tips
- Section A is compulsory
- To answer is it is essential to understand economic concepts, terminology, definitions, and descriptions.
- Attempt all questions, and if unsure, return to it later for potential clues within the exam.
- If uncertain, make an educated guess.
- Leaving questions unanswered yields no points, thus attempting an answer, even if unsure, is advantageous if the answer is economically sensible.
Multiple-Choice Questions
- Read the question or statement thoroughly before attempting an answer.
- Select only one option and write the corresponding letter next to the question number.
- Only one option per question is accepted, otherwise both answers will be marked as incorrect.
- First discuss possible answers and formulate the likely correct answer before reviewing the options.
- If the answer is not available, use elimination to rule out irrelevant or incorrect options and choose the best remaining answer.
- If still unsure, move to other questions and return later for potential clues.
