- Return to home route can be set to advanced mode or straight line
Safety Settings
- Compass can be calibrated if necessary
- IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) can be calibrated if horizon line is floating
- Battery test can be done in safety menu, showing all four battery cells and aggregate voltage
- Ox LED (bottom of aircraft) turns on during takeoff and landing, can be set to strobe or turned off
- Aircraft front LED arm LEDs indicate different things, such as photo taken
Advanced Safety Settings
- Unlock geozone allows flying in restricted areas with DJI permission
- Find my drone feature helps locate drone with flashing and beeping
- Signal loss return to home can be set to hover or return to home
- Emergency propeller stop is for emergency use only
- Air sense detects nearby aircraft, can be annoying in some cases
Control Menu
- Aircraft units can be set to Imperial or other units of measurement
- Gimbal mode can be set to follow or FPV (first-person view)
- Gimbal calibration can be done, recommended after IMU calibration
- Gimbal settings:
- Pitch speed and smoothness can be adjusted for smooth gimbal movement
- Yaw speed and smoothness can be adjusted for smooth yaw movement
- Cine mode slows down pitch, yaw, and other movements for cinematic effect
- Gimbal tilt settings can be adjusted in sport mode
- Remote stick mode can be set to leave it on for 2 seconds
- Function buttons can be customized, e.g., gimbal recenter and Ox LED toggle
Remote Calibration
- RC calibration is important to remember, especially when storing the remote
- Calibration can be run if center point changes accidentally
