- Manufacturing, advertising for sale, selling, or possessing any fictitious, facsimile, or simulated license to drive a motor vehicle is prohibited.

This has certain exceptions regarding the transfer of information in non-electronic form with the license holder's consent and does not hold sellers of alcohol or tobacco responsible for accepting fraudulent identification if due diligence is used. Pawnbrokers, scrap metal dealers, or secondhand dealers are allowed to scan licenses with the license holder's consent for sales of merchandise, and submit the information to law enforcement.
- A licensed real estate broker shall not retain the scanned license for a period of longer than the closing date or when requested by the license holder.
