Disability Retirement

Sworn members with 10+ years of service may be eligible for disability retirement if their non-duty illness, injury, or medical condition renders them unable to perform their job duties.

Sick Leave Accrual

Sworn members appointed prior to November 16, 1987, accrue 20 hours/month (Option I) or 12 hours/month (Option II).
