Dancing with the Stars Quiz

Dancing with the Stars is an international television series based on the British TV series Strictly Come Dancing, distributed by BBC Studios, currently licensed to 60 territories. The show became the world's most popular television programme among all genres in 2006 and 2007, according to the magazine Television Business International, reaching the Top 10 in 17 countries. The show pairs celebrities with professional ballroom dancers, who each week compete by performing one or more choreographed routines. Viewers are given a certain amount of time to place votes for their favorite dancers, either by telephone or online. The Chinese version of the show is a co-production between mainland China's HBS and Hong Kong's TVB, aired on Hunan Television and TVB Jade. The Indian version is called Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, while Pakistan has its own version called Nachley. The US version of the show called Dancing with the Stars aired on ABC from 2005 to 2021 and is currently hosted by Tyra Banks and Alfonso Ribeiro. The Spanish-language network Univision also has its own version named Mira Quien Baila. The Mirror Ball trophy is manufactured by the New York firm Society Awards.
