General Contractor Roles

  • Operator: Role responsible for creating new requests.
  • Administrator: Role that manages company users.

Initial Log In

  • Navigate to www.cuecrane.com to reach the application website.
  • The landing page will then be displayed.
  • Click the "Log in" button.
  • Provide email and password to log in.
  • Check the "Remember me?" button to have the application remember you.
  • Click "Forgot password?" to reset the password if needed.
  • A new page opens requiring an email address to send password reset instructions.
  • Click "Resend email confirmation" to resend the email confirmation if required.
  • A new page requesting email address to resend the confirmation link is displayed.
  • Click the "Back to Login" button to return to the login page.

Home Page

  • The first page after logging in, containing:
  • New Request button
  • Active Requests button
  • Search button
  • Dashboard displays info, and the "Go to" links and "Quick Actions” such as "Add Job" and "Add User".

Manage Account

  • Access by going to "Account settings".

Profile

  • Allows management to change profile information.
  • Username is the company's email.
  • To save any changes, click on "Save Changes" button.

Password

  • For managing the password, click on the "Password" button.
  • The new password must be at least 6 characters and must have one non-alphanumeric character.
  • Passwords must have at least one digit ('0'-'9').
  • Passwords must have at least one uppercase ('A'-'Z').
  • Enter your current password and desired password to update it.
  • Instructions are available to assist in changing the password.
  • Click "Update Password" button to save changes.

User Preferences

  • Allows you to change email notification settings.
  • Click the "User Preferences” button to do so.
  • Allows for settings features related to:
    • General Settings
    • Task Notifications
    • Events Notifications
    • States

General settings

  • Choose email notification frequency by switching on/off the button:
  • Never
  • Workdays
  • Daily

Task notifications

  • Choose to receive email notifications for Confirm Deployment Date Request.

Events Notifications

  • Choose to receive email notifications for jobs that are pending:
  • PM Acknowledge
  • Exception
  • Cancelled
  • True Up/Down SPO issued
  • Lift Plan Approved
  • Lift Plan Rejected
  • PM Approve Pick Up Date Change
  • PM Reject Pick Up Date Change

Email CC-s tab

  • Add an email address to CC on all system automatic emails.

States

  • Assign states for site access.
  • Select desired state and use the > button to assign.
  • To assign all states, use the >> button.
  • Choose a state from the right list, use the < button to unassign.
  • Use the << button to unassign all states.
  • Up to 30 minutes may be required upon updating the states, where you can log out and back in
  • After finishing, use the Save button.

New Request

  • Click on "New Request" button on the top bar.

New Crane Request

  • Create a new request using the request equipment page.
  • Required fields on "Project Details":
    • Project- Select the project for crane request.
    • General Contractor- Select the general contractor for project.
    • Site- Select site for the crane request; dropdown includes sites assigned to project.
    • Construction Manager- Select a construction manager.
    • Project Manager/Approver- Select the approver for the job.
  • Required fields in "Equipment Details":
    • Type of Equipment- Crane
    • Load dimensions- Enter free text dimensions as required (Width, Length, Height).
    • Load weight- Enter maximum weight with a unit of measure.
    • Hoisting height- Enter maximum hoisting height with a unit of measure.
    • Lift attributes- Select required attributes.
  • Required fields on "Deployment Date Step":
    • Date & Time- Select date/time when the crane is needed; note minimum procurement timeframe must be considered.
    • Hoisting hours – Enter estimated hoisting hours.
    • Estimated days on site- Enter estimated days on site.
    • Select included weekend days in the bid if applicable.
    • Indicate Multiple deployments on site if applicable.
    • Request notes – enter any notes relevant to the request.
    • Crane Justification – explanation required for the crane.
  • Certify site preparation for equipment ingress and egress to create request.
  • Default lift attributes are in red with an X.
  • Click once to assign and twice to mark as "to be determined."
  • Use the submit button.
  • Upload CDs is the next requirement.
  • OK to proceed, cancel to return.
  • Upload a file by using the "Browse" button.
  • Add description text and use the "Upload" and "Clear" button to remove specific files.

New Manlift Request

  • Navigate to the top bar and click on “New Request" button.
  • Required fields on "Project Details" are:
    • Project
    • General Contractor
    • Site
    • Construction Manager
    • Project Manager/Approver
  • Required fields in "Equipment Details" are:
  • Type of Equipment – Manlift
  • Type of Manlift - select if you need Straight/Articulating Manlift, Electric Scissor Lift or Rough Terrain (RT) Scissor Lift.
  • Required fields on Safety and Usage:
    • Does your crew know how to operate it?
    • Ground Conditions
  • Required fields on deployment Date step:
  • Drop Off Date (site local time)
  • Tentative Pickup Date
  • Request notes
  • Manlift Justification
  • Certify site is prepared for crane ingress and egress.
  • Click "Submit" button to complete.

Active Requests

  • As a General Contractor (GC) user, this is the primary feature to create a new request.
  • GC can view the active requests as well by tapping the "Active Requests" button.

Status Filter

  • Search requests by status by clicking the filter button.
  • Allows action requests based with the requested status.
  • Pre-Deployment include Acknowledge Lowest Bid, P. Director Confirm Expedited, Pending SPO, Pending Lift Plan, Lift Plan Review
  • Deployment include Deploy Date Confirmation, Pending Deployment, Pending Close Out, Acknowledge Down Day.
  • Post-Deployment include Pending Final Price, Confirm Final Price and Pending True-Up/Down.

Advanced Filter

  • Filter requests based on parameters.
  • Job ID
  • Job type
  • Site ID
  • Site Name
  • Address
  • Project
  • Project Manager
  • General Contractor
  • Vendor
  • Deployment Date
  • Requests with Multiple Deployments
  • Search crane requests by:
  • Request ID

Request Details

  • Select a request to view its details on the right side of the screen.
  • View Request Details
  • Crane Supplier info
  • Project Manager
  • Request Logs
  • Associated photos
  • Site details
  • There is a button to perform needed requests.
  • Confirm Deployment Date which is at least 5 days before actual deployment, otherwise, processes through CUE Crane team.
  • General Contractors can not confirm a deployment date within 3 of the actual deployment, these requests are processed the CUE Crane team, after verifying, giving authorization.

Lift Plan

  • Click the “Lift Plan” button to view the corresponding documents.
  • Preview and download the required documents.
  • Documents have a status showing their approval or rejection rating.

Files

  • Select a request and click on the "Files" button.
  • A file list with columns is then visible:
  • Name
  • Description
  • Date
  • Added by
  • The screen can have buttons for:
  • Preview
  • Download
  • Open
  • An upload section also exists to upload a requested file, where files can have categories like:
  • No Category
  • Construction Drawings
  • Lift Plans To preview, download open and select.

Download

To download the file that is requested, select what you would like tap download button.

Open

Select to open select the file tap open button.

Upload

  • The upload section is on the right side.
  • Use the, "browse" button/drag and drop files, then tap, upload button with clear button, to remove.

Extend/Call off Pick Up

  • Call off or extend an onsite Manlift to extend duration, must go to menu and select extend/call off.
  • Change pickup date for manlifts, provide and note when use is expected, confirm that crane can operator can pickup per box to request, make sure checkbox is confirmed
    • Select button, requests send to PM approval.
    • Submit Button.

Search Crane Request

Allows to look up using request/Site ID by entering, can search in the section.

Settings

Find settings to adjust from top menu by tapping icon.

User

By selecting users. You can select to see with list, with info, add export and detail tap: On user menu

  • Tapping Add is to add user.
  • The export taps allows to export.
  • Users details show.
  • Tap add to add user, will provide forms for:
  • Name.
  • Email.
  • Phone. With all, use the submit button, otherwise, cancel.

Details

The details button can tap to:

  • User to assigned roles, details button shows information related selected user, with right tap showing: role section (building or supplier)
  • Allows you to edit, delete the option of password, with role and Email confirmations.

After Selecting roles

Tap role list after, otherwise, cancel

To edit a user select the box, then to change the user.

Select edit, and Save change if select.

Deleting Users

With confirm section that allows the options of “Are you sure you want to delete this user section” tapping/ cancel.

Support

  • Allows users in need tap: - by Submit Ticket (Submitting tap form)
  • Provide ID information action, details, description, request with, submit otherwise, cancel
  • User number
  • manuals
  • or request operator.

Operators

  • The manuals tap shows all instructions.
