    • Criminal Investigation is defined as a systematic examination of some scientific detail or question either by experiment or mathematical treatment
    • The three aims of Criminal Investigation are: Identify the guilty party, locate the guilty party, and provide evidence of his guilt
    • Autoptic evidence is evidence addressed to the senses of the court.
    • Object Evidence is any material object or thing of physical existence which can be perceived by the senses of the court.
    • Miranda Rights, Miranda Warning or Miranda Doctrine refer to the rights read to a person being interrogated in a crime.
    • Extra-Judicial Confession is a sworn statement made by a suspect outside of court, acknowledging guilt in a crime.
