    New Positions

    • Each newly created position shall be assigned to the national craft unit most appropriate for such position within 30 days after its creation.
    • The Union shall be notified promptly regarding assignments made under this provision.

    Performance of Bargaining Unit Work

    More than 100 Bargaining Unit Employees

    • Supervisors are prohibited from performing bargaining unit work at post offices with 100 or more bargaining unit employees, except:
      • In an emergency
      • For the purpose of training or instruction of employees
      • To assure the proper operation of equipment
      • To protect the safety of employees
