  • SRAM (Static RAM): faster and more expensive

  • Motor: spins platters
• Types of HDD:
  • IDE (Integrated Drive Electronics)
  • SATA (Serial Advanced Technology Attachment)
  • SCSI (Small Computer System Interface)
