- Communication process is the exchange of information between two or more people.
- For communication to succeed, both participants must be able to exchange information.
- Communication fails if the flow of communication is blocked.

- Before transmitting a message, the sender must first encode the message.
- The receiver is also called the interpreter.
- The message is also called the content.
- The medium is also called the channel.
