Communication Process
- Before communication can take place, a purpose is needed.
- The key parts of the process include: sender (initiator of the message), encoding (converting thoughts into a message), the message (actual physical product of the sender's encoded thought), the channel (medium through which message travels), decoding (converting the message into understandable form), the receiver (person to whom message is directed). Noise (distortion of message) and feedback are also part of the process.
