• The glass is packed FULL with ice and filled with soft drink (choices vary by unit).
• Soft drink refills are not automatic and are only offered when the glass is half empty upon guest request.
• Straws or other items are only brought upon Guest request.

Tap Water

• Served in a 22oz. Plastic Cambro.
• The glass is packed FULL with ice and then tap water.
• Water refills are only from a pitcher.
• Lemons, straws or other items are only brought upon Guest request.
• If requested, lemon will be placed in the glass using tongs

Iced Tea

• Served in a 22oz. Plastic Cambro.
• The glass is packed FULL with with ice and iced tea.
• Straws, lemons, or other items are only brought upon Guest request.
• If requested, lemon will be placed in the glass using tongs
• Iced tea is only refilled from a pitcher
• Served with a parfait spoon on the side.

Juices

• Served in a 14 oz. Highball.
• Juices served on the rocks: V8, Apple, Cranberry, Pineapple, and Tomato.
• Juices served straight up: Orange and Grapefruit.
• Straws or other items are only brought upon Guest request.

Bottled Root Beer:

• Served in a 14 oz. Highball.
• No Ice.
• Served opened Root Beer on the side of a 14 oz. Highball.

Kids Beverage

• Served in a Rainforest Cafe Kid's Cup, with the Guest's choice of drink.
• Straw is Clear.

Bottled Sparkling Water

• Served in a 12 oz. Wine Glass.
• The opened water bottle is served on the side of an empty wine glass.
• Lemon is brought only upon Guest request.
• Available in Large and Small sizes.

Bottled Still Water

• Served in a 12 oz. Wine Glass.
• The opened water bottle is served on the side of an empty wine glass.
• Lemon is brought only upon Guest request.
• Available in Large and Small sizes.

Wine by the Glass

• Served in a 12 oz. Wine Glass.
• Wine pour is always 6 oz.
• Always serve wine in clean glasses.

Wine by the Bottle

• Served in a 12 oz. Wine Glass.
• Wine pour is always 6 oz.
• Always offer clean glasses for each Guest enjoying the wine.
• Follow proper wine service (layed out in the Server/ Bartender manual).

Bottled Beer

• Served in a 16 oz. Pint Glass.
• Offer every Guest a chilled pint glass with their bottled beer.
• Regular draft beers are served in a 20 oz. Pilsner, or Small sizes come in a 16 oz. Pint glass

Draft Beer

• All draft beers served in a frozen souvenir Pilsner unless Customer request the smaller size.
• Smaller size is a 16oz pint glass and regular in 20oz.

Coffee

• Served with coffee mug 1 Teaspoon and 1 Beverage napkin.
• Two creamers (upon Guest request only).
• When a Guest aks for coffee, ask if they would like regular or decaf.
• Then ask the Guest if they would like cream.
• If YES, bring a mug full of coffee and a beverage napkin with a teaspoon and 2 creamers placed on it (see picture).
• If NO, bring a mug full of coffee and a beverage napkin with a teaspoon placed on it.
• Note: Beverage napkin is for teaspoon and creamers only, not the coffee mug

Hot Tea

• Served with mug, Plate, Teapot with hot tea.
• When a Guest aks for hot tea, ask if they would like Earl Grey, Chamomile, or Green Tea.
• Ask if they'd like lemon or cream.
• On an appetizer plate, place a beverage napkin, hot tea bag, teaspoon, teapot full of hot water, and 1 lemon wedge and/or 2 creamers.
• Also bring a coffee mug full of hot water and place it next to the appetizer plate.

Hot Chocolate

• Served with Coffee mug, 1 Teaspoon,1 Beverage napkin and 2 stir straws.
• 1 Hot chocolate packet.
• Fill coffee mug with hot water. Stir hot chocolate mix from packet into the hot water until completely dissolved.
• Place stir straws in a cris-cross formation across the lip of the coffee mug.
• Add whipped cream in a spiral design to the top of the hot chocolate. (Stir straws will help to support the whipped cream).
• Serve with a teaspoon on a beverage napkin placed to the right side of the coffee mug.

Steps to success, "Buy the Drink, Keep the Glass"

• Safari Guides pick up the extra Drink Menu on table after the tour guide leaves and uses it as a prop.
• Safari Guides welcome Guests, introduce themselves, and introduces the drink menu.
• Safari Guides use the Drink Menu to sell the specialty drinks to Guests
• Pointing out alcoholic drinks/souvenir glasses, which include refills at a lower price.
• Pointing out draft beers are served in 20 oz souvenir pilsners
• Emphasize the customer what a terrific value drinks are.
• Point out non-alcoholic drinks and ICEEs in the Character Cups
• Recommend a specialty alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink, by name, that is featured on the drink menu.
• Safari Guides ask the Guests which specialty drink they'd like to order and assumes the sale if any specialty drinks are ordered and brings the souvenir glass.
• Since the Drink Menu is in front of them, there's no need to ask if they want the regular souvenir size or the smaller size.
• Safari Guides then take the drink order remove the extra drink menu from the table.
• Navigators follow the same drink menu selling process as the safari guides to self seating guest at the bar seating area.
• After the guest leaves both teams reset areas and return the drink menu.
