There are three main types of cloud services: IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. IaaS is similar to existing IT resources that many IT departments and developers are familiar with today, while PaaS removes the need for organizations to manage the underlying infrastructure. Platform as a Service (PaaS) builds on virtualization technology, so resources can easily be scaled up or down, and provides a variety of services to assist with the development, testing, and deployment of apps. Software as a Service (SaaS) provides you with a completed product that is run and managed by the service provider.
The five design principles for security in the cloud are: Perform operations as code, Make frequent, small, reversible changes, Refine operations procedures frequently, Anticipate failure, Learn from all operational failures, and Summarize the key facts from the text above in 10 sentences.
