Vehicle Size Regulations
- Maximum width for most vehicles: 8 feet

- Maximum length: 40 feet for single vehicles, 65 feet for truck-tractor and trailer combinations
Load Projection Rules
- Loads may not extend more than 6 inches beyond the width of the body.
- Front extension limit: 4 feet; rear extension limit: 8 feet (except poles, pilings, logs - can extend 15 feet beyond rear)
Load Security Requirements
- Loads must be secured; contents must not drop, shift, leak, or escape.
- If a load extends 4 feet or more beyond the vehicle's body, a 12-inch red flag must be affixed at the rear during daylight hours.
Nighttime Safety Measures
