What were the causes of the First World War?

1, Alliance system: This was a union or association formed for mutual benefit, especially between countries or organizations. It could be formed for political, military support, economic cooperation or for technology transfer. There were different alliances that were formed before the World War 1 and after it. These alliances contributed to the cause of the war. Few of them will be highlighted below. There were two main alliances in the years leading up to World War One. The Triple Alliance (1882) was an agreement between the countries of Germany, Austria-Hungary and Italy and the Triple Entente (1907) was an agreement between the countries of England, France, and Russia.
