Inner Can Coatings
- Inner cans are coated with tin, which is divided into several types for different uses.
- The coating prevents corrosion and reaction with food.
Types of Coatings
A. Verzineal Coating
- Used for "R" type fruits, which are characterized by protection of the fruit and retention of color.
- Contains 15% zinc and is used to prevent bad color.

B. Phenolic Coating
