    Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) - Brief History

    • 1952: Plaridel Community Agricultural High School (100 students) established in Bintog, Plaridel, Bulacan.
    • 1953: Renamed Bulacan Provincial Agricultural High School, later renamed Bulacan National Agricultural High School (BNAHS) due to nationalization under Republic Act 948.
    • 1955: 192.5 hectares of Buenavista Estate in San Ildefonso, Bulacan reserved for BNAHS via Proclamation 163.
    • 1959: BNAHS converted to Bulacan National Agricultural School (BuNAS) via Republic Act 2416.
    • 1998: BuNAS converted to Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) through Republic Act 8548.
    • BASC is the only state-run agricultural higher education institution in Bulacan.
    • BASC has been a crucial educational hub for underprivileged students in Bulacan and Central Luzon for the past 23 years.
