Measuring Data Distribution
- There are two types of data: grouped data and ungrouped data
- Grouped data is categorized into intervals or classes, while ungrouped data consists of individual values
Calculating Quartiles
- The lower quartile (Q1) is the median of the lower half of the data
- The median quartile (Q2) is the middle value of the data, separating the lower half from the upper half
- The upper quartile (Q3) is the median of the upper half of the data
